Market conditions are fundamental to any successful letting of land. We make it our business to keep up-to-date with land requirements and supply in order to negotiate from a position of strength. When it comes to leases, we have a preference for brevity: more than seven pages and the agreement is too heavily weighted in anticipation of a problem, in which case the plan to let to the tenant cannot be right to start with!
