There are Tesco and Aldi supermarkets close to the town centre. The Fort, one of Scotland’s biggest retail parks, is just 15 minutes drive away on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Haddington, just off the A1, is only 18 miles and about half an hour’s drive from Edinburgh. There are train services to Edinburgh from Longniddry and a Park and Rides at Newcraighall and Wallyford (15 minutes away).

Trains to London can be caught at Dunbar. There are also regular bus services to Edinburgh and neighbouring towns.
