Simon Stodart FRICS
Simon Stodart joined Chalmers & Co in 2000, having spent the previous year indulging in a long held ambition to sail round the world. He was previously an equity partner for 21 years with Smiths Gore, the national firm of chartered surveyors where he was a Receiver for the Crown Estate Commissioners in respect of both landed and marine estates.
In a career spanning over 40 years Simon has gained experience in all aspects of estate management, including the exploitation of minerals, compensation matters, the development of sporting interests and the purchase and sale of farms and large estates. He is now primarily concerned with estate management and he lives and farms in East Lothian.
Simon is an 'honorary consultant' with masses of wisdom to impart but which is now given in concentrated blasts rather than a continuous flow!
