Sarah Rock-Evans BSc (Hons) Ecology MRICS

Sarah Rock-Evans joined Chalmers & Co in 2008, bringing an exciting blend of land management and environmental skills to the Firm. Her role covers all aspects of estate management and rural surveying, including compensation, grant applications and professional valuations. She completed a degree in Ecology at Durham University in 2001 following which she joined Smiths Gore in Morayshire, acting primarily on behalf of The Crown Estate and qualifying as a chartered surveyor in 2005.
From 2007 Sarah Rock-Evans was based in Edinburgh with Smiths Gore, from where she was responsible for the management of land on behalf of The Crown Estate and private clients in the Lothians. She has retained an interest in conservation and environmental matters and has negotiated a number of management contracts for Sites of Special Scientific Interest as well as grant applications for upland management and is now preparing submissions through the Scottish Rural Development Plan.
